On Sunday Febuary 17th - 3:00 pm, at Pawz Palm Springs, the Corridor's "green-belt" was magically "transformed" into a runway for an incredible afternoon of glamorous Palm Springs people, canine fashion & gourmet fare for both canines and their companions! Palm Springs pups were dressed to the nines to benifit their less fortunate furry friends at the Palm Springs Animal Shelter! PAWZ PS also offered a sneak preview of their new Spring collection. PAWZ PS raised over $1,2000. from this event, which directly benifits the Palm Springs Animal Shelter. The Palm Springs K-9 unit came by to model "K-9 Officer Jax"! and Ginny Foat even modeled her Wheaton Terrier "Jake"! Paws down, this was the event that proves we can put the fun back into fundraising!

No bones about it, this K9 Fashion Show
was the must-attend event of the season!

Project Ruffway Palm Springs- This event directly benifited the Palm Springs Animal Shelter and included raffle drawings for fantastic prizes, complimentary 'Hair of The Dog' punch, fine wine from Tulip Hill, coffee from Koffi, and fine chocolates from Cafe Chocolat as well as other catered doggy gourmet treats from 3 Dog bakery! Grand prizes for top "Mod-Hip Dog", "Diva-Dog" & best "bitch or Stud" were awarded, but every dog was a winner! The greatest winners, paws down, were our two surprise guest dog models direct from the Palm Springs animal shelter, who both found new homes that day!!   ADOPTED!   Above, an "un-named" Palm Springs Shelter dog struts his stuff down the red carpet runway and later that day finds a home & a name! He was adopted by Ms. Lorraine Lewis, who also volunteered at the event.! She has named him "Koffi" after our desert's favorite coffeee house right next door to Pawz! ( Koffi generously donated gourmet coffee for our fundraising event.) Ultimately, it was our community that made Project Ruffway a huge success!
