The competition is open to pets, (cats & dogs) that are socialized, friendly with other animals and people, & potty-trained.
Pets must be leashed or restrained.
Participants must agree to abide by our contestant and event rules below. Other than that, skies the limit.

All Entries must fax your entry their entry form no later than the deadline of November 4th 2008.
All Entries must agree to abide to all contest rules and all production direction, including a possible rehearsal.
All pets must be supervised by their owner(s) during the entire duration of the event.
Only one entry per ticket regardless if yo you’ re an individual or couple.
All Entries must agree to be photographed or videotaped for future media and promotional purposes.
All show video and photographs are exclusively the property of the hosts and all entries must agree
to waive any proprietary rights of publicity or privacy for future media purposes.
All fashions displayed must be free from copyrights and any kind of obligation.
All fashion entries shall not infringe or compete with PAWZ Palm Springs excusive right to feature select pet fashion lines.
Any conflicts of interest shall be determined by our event committee,
including but not limited to copyright, logos, trademark, trade names, or other proprietary rights of publicity or privacy.
Pawz and Arf has the right to disqualify any entry found violating any of these terms or if the contestant
is unable to work within our specific event production direction needs. (Timeliness, proper attire presentation, agreeing to all rules)

Judging will be by select celebrity and personalities of the Rainbow Runway committee,
spanning many fields of design, media and entertainment.
Additional honorary awards may be given to select entries.

There will be silent auctions prizes and category "doggy Oskar" awards, as well as many raffle ticket items, thanks to our sponsors.
Content of some prizes may be kept secret until the winners are announced.

By participating in the event, all participants authorize Pawz and Arf Academy Awards to publish and exhibit all photos or videos.
Participants waive any right to financial or special compensation.
In addition, the ©Pawz Palm Springs or Arf logo, names or event images may not be published without prior permission.

You may design your own costume, or you may purchase incredible clothing available at Pawz Palm Springs
and all show participants will receive VIP discounts at PAWZ for 15% off !
In some unique instances, Pawz may loan out attire.
We highly encourage creative and "over the top" outfits, but we draw the line at anything the committee deems
highly inappropriate or seriously offensive to any person or group.
Final entry determinations are made by the event committee. If you have an entry idea that is highly questionable in nature,
PLEASE make an effort to contact us prior to Nov. 4th for show approval. We are an extremely open-minded committee,
but simply will not allow any entry that is deemed pornographic or offensive to anyone within our community.
Any loaned attire must be pre-arranged through PAWZ's owner at least one week before the event,
and the participant is responsible for returning the attire in sellable condition within one week after the event.
If not returned within one week, or returned in non-sellable condition,
the participant agrees to be financially responsible for purchasing the loaned attire.
